November 25, 2012, Dead Sea (Jordan)—Readers of the prestigious international magazine Condé Nast Traveler US have selected the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea as one of the top resorts in the Middle East for the second consecutive year. The five-star resort took third place among the best hotels in the region with a readers’ choice rating of 85.8 out of a potential 100. A total of 28,876 Condé Nast Traveler readers voted in the 2012 edition of the awards that assessed a variety of hotel criteria from dining experience and location to design, rooms and service. “This achievement is a wonderful tribute to the hard work of our people at the hotel,” said General Manager & Regional Manager Jordan Peter Hoesli. “The fact that this is the second year we have enjoyed this honour demonstrates the consistent high level of service we offer guests. “What is significant is that the scores are allocated independently by magazine readers. At the end of the day it is the views of guests that regularly enjoy our hotel that resonate the most.” “It is always a pleasure to be recognised internationally for our high standards at the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea but to be in the top three of the best in the region is a great honour.” Highlighting the achievement, Condé Nast Traveler featured the resort in its internationally renowned ‘Best in the World’ edition which showcased readers’ favourite airlines, hotels, cities, cruise and islands. Readers described the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea as “a fantasy land” where you “enter a different world” and said the “6,000-square-foot Zara Spa is truly top-notch”.
