Marking the opening of the event, the attendees held lit candles while a singer performed live the true spirit of the merry season. Christmas trees decorated by nine embassies with thousands of lights, including the giant one in the Main Lobby, were lit in the hotel, for a splendid atmosphere.

Jan Bundgaard, General Manager at Mövenpick Hotel Beirut, announced that Embassy of Belgium was the winner of the best decorated tree, which was selected by the attendees; and the prize was five complimentary nights at the hotel.

“Year after year, this cherished hotel celebration increasingly brings together hundreds of guests to share magical moments of enlightenment, music, sweets and live holiday cheers!” says the General Manager.
