Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts opens family resort on Arabian coast.

Mövenpick Beach Resort Al Khobar set to become a favourite destination within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The stunning five-star Mövenpick Beach Resort Al Khobar has officially opened, setting a new standard for family holidays on the Arabian coast.

The resort is the ninth hotel to be opened by Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and offers 36 three-bedroom duplex villas – including two Royal Villas each with a spacious majlis – two restaurants, a spa and fitness centre, free-form swimming pool, a fun kids club, lush landscaping and spectacular private beach.

“This resort is truly unique and perfect for families that enjoy holidays in an exclusive, relaxed environment,” said Markus Marti, general manager of the new property. “There is nothing like this resort in the entire Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Everything has been designed to the highest possible standards offering a seaside experience that is exceptional and comforting.”

Mövenpick Beach Resort Al Khobar is just 45 minutes from Dammam International Airport and only 25 minutes away from the five-star shopping outlets and entertainment options of Al Khobar and the King Fahad Causeway to Bahrain. Guests will find it difficult to leave the family-focused attractions of the resort.

“Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has quickly established a very positive reputation in Saudi Arabia,” said Mr. Turki Al-Mohaisen, representative of property owner Eastern Rehab Company for Tourism Investment. “This is a country that has always appreciated the importance of hospitality and we recognise in Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts a partner that celebrates the Swiss values of quality, reliability and care that every Saudi guest appreciates.”
